‘Communicating on migration. A guide for small and medium NGOs‘ compiles good practices for organisations to design campaigns and communication materials to effectively enhance our impact in raising awareness and fostering understanding around migration-related issues.
The guide has been developed under the framework of the European project Ukraine Now, which aims to raise awareness across Europe about migration and refugee movements. Its objective is to develop new approaches to break traditional narratives of migration and refugee crises, thus facilitating the inclusion of displaced people into local communities.
Implemented between November 2022 and October 2024, Ukraine Now brings together four European organisations that operate in the field of migration: Mareena (Slovakia), ARCA (Romania), Open Cultural Center (Greece), and Open Cultural Center (Spain).
The project is co-funded by the European Union through Eramsus+.
