New Interim Co-Directorship for OCC & Refugees Welcome
Open Cultural Center and Refugees Welcome España have appointed Pascale Mertens and Vincent Simon van Grondelle as interim co-directors, guiding the organisation through a new phase of growth while ensuring continued stability.
With their extensive and long-standing knowledge of both organisations, we are very glad to welcome them into this role. Pascale has been part of the organisations for nearly nine years, first as a member of RW Catalunya’s core team, and more recently as Talent and Volunteering Coordinator at OCC. Vincent has been a Board Member of OCC/RW since 2020 and previously served as Coordinator of the Barcelona office, alongside co-founding OCC’s program MigraCode Barcelona.
This decision forms part of a broader strategic process to strengthen the organisations’ governance and management structure, ensuring the stability required to continue developing their mission with solidity and responsibility.
Open Cultural Center and Refugees Welcome España continue our daily work alongside the migrants and refugees we support, with a strong team and a lasting social impact at the heart of everything we do.
