About Emerging Communities

Emerging Communities was a European collaboration designed to foster exchange and mutual learning between organisations working on social transformation and community-based initiatives. The project created space for partners to share ideas, methodologies, and solutions across borders.

Through meetings, exchanges, and collaborative reflection, the project encouraged inspiration and cross-fertilisation between diverse approaches to community organising, participation, and social innovation.

The partnership included organisations from across Europe: ImWandel and Inwole (Germany), Conceptual Politics (Serbia), Communitism (Greece), Ethos (Greece & Denmark), Italia che Cambia (Italy), and Open Cultural Center Spain. The project was funded by the European Union through Erasmus+.
