About CREATE

CREATE was developed to address the challenges many migrant children and teenagers in Europe face when learning a new language while adapting to an unfamiliar environment. The project’s main goal is to improve the effectiveness of language learning in non-formal education and empower migrant teenagers to better understand their host communities. It includes the creation of language books for A1 and A2 levels in each partner's language, specifically tailored to the realities of migrant teenagers, the delivery of A1 and A2 Spanish classes, and the training of teachers to meet the teaching needs of this group.

Objectives:
The CREATE project achieved significant results aimed at improving language education for children and teachers across Europe:

- National Training Seminars: Six national training seminars were held by partner organizations with an average of 20 participants each. These 2-day seminars focused on enhancing teaching methods and were conducted in the national language of the respective country.
- Training Material for Teachers: Glossomatheia developed comprehensive training materials and manuals, with input from all partners, based on the methodology from previous work packages. These resources were designed for both physical training sessions and for uploading to the E-learning platform.
- Language Classes for Children: A total of 600 children across Greece, Cyprus, Italy, Spain, and France received language classes. The children who completed the course were able to take accredited B1 and B2 exams and receive official certificates of their language proficiency.
- Teaching Books: Two teaching books (A1 and A2) were developed as part of the project to support language learning and enhance educational resources for both teachers and students.
